Los Angeles – Hip Hop International is not just about a hip hop dance competition, it is also about learning moves and choreography from the best of the best. On Monday, August 5, 2013 from 9am to 10:15, dancing couple Keone and Mari Madrid share their moves with the rest of the world. This husband and wife team has taught all over the world and most recently were featured on season 10 of “So You Think You Can Dance.” Mari originally started dancing at the age of 13 in Boulder City, Colorado. By the time she was 17, she made her move to San Francisco and started dancing with Funkanometry SF then at 23 years old, Mari migrated down to San Diego and joined the dance company known as Choreo Cookies.
For Keone, he didn’t start dancing until he was 15. Interestingly, the husband half of the Madrid couple was taught by none other than Kid Rainen of the Jabbawockeez.
Jumping forward, Keone and Mari became the head of Choreo Cookies leading them to win various dance competitions and now they take their award winning moves to HHI’s Urban Moves workshop.
Don’t miss out on learning from this twosome.
