Japanese and New Zealand junior crews take control of world junior prelims
Bubblegum hold up their medal from last year's Hip Hop International World Finals

Las Vegas, NV – It was no surprise that New Zealand and Japan ranked high in the world junior preliminaries of the 2012 Hip Hop International World Dance Championships. Taking the top spot is current world junior division winner Bubble Gum of New Zealand. Following closely behind them is Flip of Canada. We’ll have to see if the Flip with take Bubble Gum and chew it to move to the top spot during semi-finals coming tomorrow.

Pacific rim reigned as Rascals of Hawaii took third place while Japan’s Onzaka Ikka and J.B. star took 4th and 5th place respectively. The U.S. highest placed crew is Minotics at 9th Place and Las Vegas’ very own Prodigy at 11th place.

The following is the list of the top 12 moving on to the semi-finals:

1. Bubblegum – New Zealand

2. Flip – Canada

3. Rascals – USA

4. Onizaka Ikka – Japan

5. J.B. Star – Japan

6 . Fresh 2.0 – Canada

7. Tao – Japan

8. Cookies N Cream – Canada

9. Miniotics – USA

10. Khaos – New Zealand

11. Prodigy – USA

12. Superkidz – U.K.
